Where to sign in
The app is at app.sidelinemoments.com. The Log in link on sidelinemoments.com takes you there too. Bookmark the app address; there is nothing to install.
Sideline works in Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox. Coaches clipping film should use a Mac or Windows computer with Chrome or Edge for the best experience; watching works on any phone or tablet.
Your invitation
Accounts are created by a coach or a league administrator. You cannot sign yourself up. When you are added, you get an email from team@sidelinemoments.com with:
- the address to sign in at,
- your email address, which is your username,
- a temporary password, valid for seven days.
Sign in with the temporary password and you will be asked to choose your own. Passwords must be at least 8 characters. Then Sideline asks for your name, an optional phone number, and, for parents, which player is yours.
If you do not see the email, check spam, junk, or promotions folders and search for "Sideline". Some coaches choose to text the temporary password instead of emailing it.
Temporary password expired
Temporary passwords stop working after seven days. Ask your coach to open Members and select Resend invite next to your name. You get a fresh email and a new temporary password; the old one no longer works.
Forgot your password
On the sign-in screen select Forgot your password? and enter your email. A code arrives by email within a minute or two and is valid for one hour. Enter the code and a new password, then sign in.
Your profile
Your name, top right of the app, opens your profile. There you can change your name and phone number, pick a light or dark appearance, and choose your players on each team. Your phone number is visible only to coaches on your teams and to Sideline administrators, never to other parents.
