Film room for a volunteer’s Sunday.
Hudl is priced for programs and built for staff. Sideline is built for the coach who films with a phone, has a day job, and still wants every kid to see their best play.
Keyboard-first. I and O to mark, Q for the one you missed, comma and period to step frames.
Clip once, done
Open the game, mark the plays, press Cut & upload. Nothing to export, rename, compress, or email. The plays are in the team’s space before you finish your coffee.
Tag from the roster
The roster is a row of numbers under every play. Tap the kids, pick an award. No spreadsheets, no remembering who got the pancake on Saturday.
Awards from a list
The per-game awards page is the list you read from at Monday practice. Every sticker has the play behind it, so the kid can watch what earned it.
Parents stop asking
Every parent sees their own kid’s page. “Can you send me that video?” goes away.
Share the work
Invite an assistant or a team parent as a coach. Marks sync to the account, so two people can clip the same game from two houses.
Nothing to install
Chrome or Edge on a Mac or a Windows laptop. Works with whatever recorded the game.
You coach. Sideline remembers.
Nobody can watch 22 kids at once. Film catches the block you missed on the far side of the field, and a tag makes sure that kid hears about it on Monday.
What coaches ask us
How long does a game take to clip?
About 20 minutes for a full game once you’ve done one. Scan at 3x, tap I and O, and you’re marking faster than the game plays. Tagging players adds a few seconds per play.
Can a team parent do it instead of me?
Yes. Invite them as a coach and they can clip and tag. Many teams have a parent who’d rather do this than run the snack schedule.
Does it work with my XbotGo / Veo / Trace footage?
Yes. Download the game file from the camera’s app and open it in Sideline. Any MP4 or MOV works.
Can I use it for teaching, not just highlights?
The game page loops each play, zooms into the picture, steps frame by frame, and slows down. It is built for showing a kid what happened on a play, not for drawing arrows.
My league hasn’t signed up. Can my team start?
Yes. Start your team with your season dates and we’ll set it up, usually within a day. Teams are how most leagues find us.
Clip your next game in Sideline.
Tell us about your team and we’ll set it up. If your league hasn’t signed on yet, that’s fine; teams are how leagues find us.
