Sideline can email you when there's something new to watch, so you don't have to keep checking.
What you'll get
- Coaches: new game footage. When another coach adds clips to a game, you get an email with the game and how many clips are new and how many are still untagged, so you can review them and give out awards. You aren't emailed about clips you added yourself.
- Families: your player was tagged. When your player is tagged in a clip, or gets an award, you get an email saying how many new clips they're in and which awards they got, with a link to their reel. You aren't emailed about tags you added yourself.
These emails are about your own players, so pick your player on your profile (Your teams) if you haven't yet.
How often
At most one email a day for each team. Sideline waits until the uploads or tagging have stopped for a couple of hours, then sends one email that covers all of it. So a whole afternoon of uploads is one email, not one per clip. Emails only go out between 7 AM and 9 PM Central. Anything added after that day's email is in the next day's.
Turn them off (or back on)
Each email type can be turned off for each team on its own:
- Select your name at the top to open Your profile.
- Under Your teams, find the team and check or uncheck the emails you want.
Every email also has an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. It turns off that one email type for that one team, without signing in, and you can turn it back on from the same page or your profile.
