Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and FigTree Labs LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as Sideline Moments (“Sideline”, “we”, “us”), for use of sidelinemoments.com and the Sideline application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. Accounts

  • You must be 18 or older to hold an account. Accounts are for coaches, league administrators, and parents or guardians of players. Children may not hold accounts.
  • Accounts are created by invitation from a coach, league, or Sideline. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think your account has been used without your permission.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.

2. Your content

  • Video, photos, roster information, tags, and marks you upload or create are yours, or your team’s, or your league’s, according to your own arrangements. Sideline does not own them.
  • You grant Sideline a licence to store, process, and display that content to the members of the team it belongs to, solely to provide the Service. This licence ends when the content is deleted.
  • You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, including consent from the families of any children shown, whether through a league waiver or otherwise. Coaches and leagues are responsible for obtaining that consent.
  • Only upload content from your own team’s games and activities. Do not upload content you do not have permission to share.

3. Acceptable use

Use the Service to share your team’s clips and photos with your team. Do not use it to harass, embarrass, or endanger anyone, especially a child; to upload anything unlawful; to attempt to access another team’s content; to scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service; or for any commercial purpose other than the one it is for. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, and we will always remove content on request from a parent or guardian of a child shown in it.

4. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we handle it, including footage of children. It is part of these terms.

5. Plans, pilots, and payment

  • Pilot seasons are free and carry no obligation to continue. We may end a pilot at the end of the agreed season.
  • Paid league plans are priced per registered player per season under a written order with the league. Team and family plans, when offered, will have their prices shown before you buy.
  • Fees are non-refundable once a season has started, except where the law requires otherwise or we say so in writing.

6. Ending things

  • You can close your account any time by emailing us.
  • When a league or team stops using the Service, families keep access to download their player’s clips and photos through the end of that calendar year. Leagues can request a full export of their content before it is deleted.
  • We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms. We will give notice where we reasonably can.
  • We may discontinue the Service with at least 90 days’ notice, during which content can be exported.

7. What we promise, and what we don’t

We work hard to keep the Service available, accurate, and safe, but it is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that clips will be cut exactly as you intended on every camera. Keep your own copy of your game recordings. To the extent the law allows, Sideline’s total liability to you for anything arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will email account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
