Every kid on the team gets their own highlight reel.
Coaches clip the game in a browser and tag who did what. Sideline turns that into each player’s best plays, team photos, and helmet-sticker awards that families watch, share, and keep forever.
Nothing to install. Works with any camera or phone. Private to your team.
Clip the whole game in one sitting.
Open the recording, scan at 2–4x, and press I when a play starts and O when it ends. Missed one? Q grabs the last few seconds. Your marks save to your account as you go, so you can finish on a different computer.
- Any file that plays in a browser: phone, GoPro, XbotGo, Veo, Trace
- Frame-step and 5-second jumps to land the exact moment
- Cut & upload sends only the plays, never the full game
One tag becomes a kid’s reel and a sticker.
Tag a play with the players in it and what happened. Each player’s page fills up with their own clips, and the awards board tallies the stickers so Monday practice runs itself.
The team’s photos, in one place, tagged by kid.
Parents drop the photos they took, tag who’s in them, and every family finds their own player’s pictures on the player’s page instead of in a group text nobody can scroll back through.
- iPhone photos convert automatically so they show for everyone
- Full-size download, no compression
- Same private team space as the clips
Saturday game, Sunday clips, Monday stickers.

Youth football families get one season a year, and most of it disappears. The big tools are priced for high school programs and built for analysis. Sideline was built by a parent with a camera on a tripod who wanted every kid on the team to get their moment, not just the ones whose parents filmed.
Our storyQuestions, answered
What is Sideline?
Sideline is a web-based film room for youth sports leagues, starting with football. A coach opens the game recording in the browser, marks the plays, and tags who did what. Sideline cuts the clips, builds a highlight reel for every player, tallies helmet-sticker awards, and gives families a private place to watch, download, and keep it all.
Do we need special cameras?
No. Sideline works with any recording: a phone on a tripod, a GoPro, or an AI camera like XbotGo, Veo, or Trace. If it plays in a browser, you can clip it.
Does the whole game get uploaded?
No. The game file stays on the coach’s computer. Only the clipped plays are uploaded, so a 90-minute, 9 GB recording becomes a few hundred megabytes of plays in a few minutes.
Who can see my child’s clips?
Only the adults on your team: the coaches and the parents the coach invited. Nothing is public, there is no feed, and children never hold accounts. You can download your player’s clips and photos any time.
How much does it cost?
Leagues bundle Sideline into registration as a small per-player fee, so families never see a separate bill. Your first season as a league is a free pilot. Individual teams can start on their own too; talk to us and we’ll set you up.
Which sports?
Tackle and flag football today. The same moments-and-awards model fits soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and hockey, and those are next as leagues ask for them.
